Upgrading the Airline
If you’ve been looking into the airline in the last few hours, you will have noticed several upgrades to both it’s appearance, and functionality.
The homepage and dashboard now have some nice graphics across the top, leading visitors to the online guide, the newsletter, Discord, Facebook, the airline itself, information about group flights, the downloadable liveries, and how to support us through patreon.
Both pages also show the most recent news articles at the foot of the page, directly from the newsletter, with a nice registration form alongside for those that haven’t signed up yet. If you register for the newsletter, you get it instantly by email when news is published.
The dashboard page also now shows recently landed flights, and new members.
Oh, one more thing (in Steve Jobs style)…
The “codex” (our user guide) has now been transformed into the homepage for all things VirtualFlight.Online. The old URLs will redirect automatically. It may evolve further in the coming weeks, but it’s starting to take shape at last (this has been a long time coming).
Finally, apologies to those waiting to sign up with our legacy airline at va.virtualflight.online - there is a problem with the VABase servers at the moment that we have no control over, that’s preventing sign-ups.
Best regards,
Jonathan
