The Flight Performance Rulebook
After receiving numerous questions about the exact rules implemented by ACARS, we have updated the scoring page in the Codex:
https://codex.virtualflight.online/operations/airline-virtualflight-online/scoring
Here’s a summary:
All flights start with 100 points and there are no differences for the type of flight (tours, charters, free flights, etc). The main purpose of scoring is to discover mistakes, learn from them, and improve piloting skills.
Beacon lights should be on while engines are running
There is a 10 second period to react. The warning becomes possible again after 60 seconds. No penalty due to MSFS aircraft inconsistencies.Strobe lights should be on while in flight
