Event Tours Are Back! Announcing the Mediterranean Coastal Airports Tour!
The Mediterranean Coastal Airports tour is our Event Tour for April 2024
If you have visited the Airline’s Tour pages this afternoon, you will have noticed something different - the tours have now been sorted by type, so any event tours are listed first followed by the Flying Club (GA) tours, then the Business tours (when added), the Historic tours, VirtualFlight Express (Airliner) tours and finally VirtualFlight World (Heavy Airliner) tours. In each group, the tours are sorted alphabetically to make it easier to find a tour.
The first event tour (featured for April 2024) is a request taken from the Discord Tour Suggestion forum - a tour of the Mediterranean Sea. Several different countries will be visited and all airports featured are either coastal or island airports - some well known, some not so well known. All are accessible to airliners and some are accessible to heavy airliners. Tour legs have been kept short(ish) to make the tour accessible to pilots who haven’t yet attained the ranking required to fly airliners - business aircraft such as either of the TBMs are more than capable of completing the tour. GA aircraft can also be used, if desired, but some of the legs could take several hours to complete in GA aircraft.
