Behold the Logbook
Actually a Discord channel, but it serves the same purpose :)
Recognising that not everybody enjoys using using ACARS, or wants to take part in a virtual airline - but still might want to share their adventures with the rest of the community - we have added a “Logbook” channel to the VirtualFlight.Online Discord server.
It’s very much an experiment at the moment - to see how people will use it. I have recorded a few notes about my previous two flights to “show the way” (I’m resisting the temptation to write “this is the way” for fear of a Lucasfilm lawsuit).
Anyway!
The “Logbook” channel is a “forum” - so each flight you record notes on can then become a conversation without becoming lost or muddled up with other logbook entries.
Feel free to have fun with it - post notes, flight plan images, links to Volanta tracks - downloadable PLN files - whatever you would like to record and share.
Just to reiterate - it’s an experiment at the moment - to see if people use it. Fingers crossed we get some humorous reports detailing lack of talent, judgement, or flying skills (I’ll be in the forefront of that no doubt).
